Al-Burhan and Al-Sisi Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation in Alamein

Both leaders emphasized the importance of continued coordination and joint action to safeguard regional water security, and called for respect of international law in a manner that serves the collective interests of all Nile Basin countries. General Al-Burhan expressed deep appreciation for the longstanding ties between Sudan and Egypt, reaffirming Sudan’s commitment to strengthening bonds of brotherhood. He also praised Egypt’s supportive stance toward Sudan in international and regional forums, especially during Sudan’s recent crises, and for providing humanitarian aid. President Al-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s unwavering support for Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and stability, expressing his country’s readiness to enhance cooperation in all fields for the mutual benefit of both peoples.
